ComplexAxon
Smartphone + haptics system that quantifies peripheral nerve function at home by estimating vibration/tactile thresholds and sensory–motor latency to flag neuropathy earlier and track response.
ComplexAxon is a new mobile tool- currently in testing- that brings quantitative vibration-sense assessment out of the clinic and into daily life. It standardizes stimulus delivery and logging so vibration intensity and timing are normalized, repeatable, and comparable across sessions. The app guides users with simple prompts and haptic cues, then converts responses into clear, trackable metrics that can be shared with clinicians. Built for everyday users, it emphasizes ease of use and clean reporting while complementing (not replacing) traditional tuning-fork and monofilament exams. Ongoing pilots focus on usability, test–retest reliability, and signal quality to support future clinical validation.
